Virginia Base Mapping Program
The Virginia Base Mapping Program (VBMP) is the structure to support sustainable base map development for the Commonwealth. Examples include statewide orthophotography (aerial photography) road centerlines and hydrography.
Emergency Management Mapping Application
The Emergency Management Mapping Application (EMMA) is a geospatial visualization and analysis tool that provides a Common Operating Picture (COP) for emergency management. It is deployed at the Virginia Emergency Operations Center and selected local governments.
LIDAR Cost/Benefit Analysis
VGIN is undertaking a LIDAR Cost/Benefit Analysis to determine needs and suitability of LIDAR technology for the Commonwealth.
