The first of July is fast approaching and I wanted to clarify some questions and issues that have come up since last November. * These rates apply "per agency" and not per work unit within an agency. * The orthophotography data product rates (except imagery web service) apply to FUTURE imagery products collected by VGIN starting in 2009 and not to the current 2006/2007 imagery data. * Rates will not be charged until new imagery data products are delivered later in 2009 * Fees for the Imagery Web Service are effective July 1, 2008 (next month). (NOTE: we are pretty excited about the performance of the new 2006/07 imagery web service that uses 9.2 ArcGIS Server and image caching. If you haven't looked into it drop us a note and we will provide you access to the Test environment) * Since we expect to be refining and tuning the Imagery Web Service for the foreseeable future, the rate for fiscal year 2009 (starting July 1, 2008) will be $10,000 instead of the $20,000 posted. * We promise to revisit ALL rates for FY 2010 next year based upon your feedback and our finances. Please let us know if you have any questions. Thanks a bunch.
