Hey all,

If you have a need and/or interest in obtaining LIDAR data, mark your
calendars for a half day meeting in August for a LIDAR data collection
needs assessment for Virginia.  This meeting will be targeted at state
agencies and federal partners with an interest in obtaining LIDAR data
in Virginia, with a desired outcome for a defined set of requirements,
associated time frames and potential state/federal collaborative funding
opportunities.  Room size constraints mean that space will be limited to
one or two people per interested state agency.  Some understanding and
interest in LIDAR will be presumed.

Meeting date is August 16, 2007 in Charlottesville at the Division of
Mines, Minerals and Energy.

More information will be forthcoming.
