Duties include: assisting with agency strategic information technology planning; initiating and managing major information technology projects according to Commonwealth project management standards and guidelines; formulating user requirements; acting as a technical resource on applications development and/or enhancement projects; designing and implementing changes to existing applications; implementing formal change control procedures; supervising technical and professional personnel; managing programs of quality assurance and quality control; procuring technology services; and managing contracts and budgets. Qualifications: B.S. in Geography, Computer Information Systems, or related field; or equivalent experience required.
