Subject: Virginia Listserv Request

Steve,

Please put the following request on the 911 Managers Listserv. Have
people respond directly to me initially via email...

At the present time, the Amelia County Sheriffs Office is requesting any
available assistance. We currently do not have an up to date or
effective Operations Manual, Training Manual or Standard Operating
Guidelines in our communications center. There are many policies,
procedures and programs in the state that would work well for our
agency, with some custom tailoring to our "way of doing things." If
possible, I would like a copy of your Standard Operating Guidelines,
Operations Manual, Training Manual, EMS, police and fire call types
(including CAD codes), etc. Any policies that your Division of
Emergency Services, Police Department, Communications Division, etc. has
instituted for the field agencies would be of assistance as well, so
that we can recommend a change to how the field units operate in the
county as well.

Thanks in advance for everyone's assistance.
