Subject: List server request - EOC Activation Policies

Steve, can you please post this on the list server and have people
respond directly to me...

********************************

Amelia County is currently in the process of turning an infrequently
used conference room in to our EOC. We are getting quotes and such at
this time to do install work for more network/internet connections,
phone connections, etc. The latest county Emer. Ops. Plan was just
approved this week by the Board of Supervisors, which requires the EOC
be activated in certain situation (and as necessary of course.) What we
don't have is an EOC activation policy. If anyone has one I would like
to see it please, so that we can model a policy of our own for approval
by the Board. Also, I would like to hear from anyone that has already
activated an EOC in their jurisdiction as far as items they wished they
had (I.e. extra computers, grease boards, etc.) and also things they
wished they had done differently.

Thanks in advance for your cooperation and assistance.
