This is the first Wireless Services Board meeting to be held in VITA's new location. Directions may be obtained from the following link: http://www.vita.virginia.gov/about/default.aspx?id=4434. Please note, there will be a CMRS subcommittee meeting prior to the Board meeting. The Board agenda and minutes from the last meeting are available from the ISP website (http://www.va911.org/wirelessminutes.shtml), The primary purpose of this meeting is to approve the FY 09 PSAP Grant Program funding requests and Virginia's 9-1-1 Comprehensive Plan. A summary document that contains the funding recommendations of the PSAP Grant Committee and the initial draft of the 9-1-1 Comprehensive Plan are available from the ISP website (http://www.va911.org/) and are listed under News Releases. Earlier this month, the PSAP Grant Committee held a meeting to review grant requests from PSAPs received during the FY 09 funding cycle.
